Rooibos tea, from the African Red Bush, is rich in minerals, iron, potassium, calcium, copper, zinc, manganese, and magnesium. The tea is packed full of antioxidants. Rooibos is considered by many to be beneficial in the treatment of high blood pressure, headaches, stomach cramps, diverticulitis, disturbed sleeping patterns, and colicky infants. Rooibos tea contains no oxalic acid, making the tea safe for people who are prone to kidney stones. Rooibos tea was given the nickname “red tea” because of it’s ruby jewel tone infusion.
Camomile and Rooibos are both known to soothe irritated skin. So you can throw a couple tea bags in the bath water, for a natural aid in comfort. |
