On my twelfth birthday, all my brothers and sisters were sitting around the table ready to sing “Happy Birthday” to me. My mom was in the kitchen with my surprise cake. When she turned around the corner, I saw the candles flame and the sweet smell of strawberries filled the air. Mom baked a white fluffy cake, as tall as my Barbie Dream house, dripping with whip cream and covered in freshly glazed strawberries. The cake took my mom almost three hours to make! Wow! I was in heaven.
